Previously I had difficulty running. My body felt heavy and I would only be able to run 2 miles. Plus I would always suffer from cramps while running. It was very discouraging. Through Andrea’s assistance, I am now able to run 4.5 miles with no cramps. With the changes to my nutrition and increase in water I was able to surprise myself.
Not only that but I also ate pretty bad. I would skip meals and would eat lots of fast food when I did eat. I was always very lazy and felt very bloated. I just never thought much of the importance of nutrition. I honestly thought that as long as I exercised then I was free to eat whatever I wanted. However I was very wrong.
I am very grateful to have worked with Andrea! She is very patient and understands that this a process. Change can be difficult at times but you will never know what you are capable of if you don’t try. For me, I am amazed with what I was able to accomplish alongside Andrea.

I decided to work with Rising Roots Nutrition to help with stomach issues that my Doctors were not able to help me with. Andrea took the time to learn my symptoms and my goals and we worked on "trouble shooting" my stomach. We were able to get to the root issue and I've been pain free since. Andrea shows that she cares about what she is doing and who she is helping. She takes the time to research and help you come up with the best results.
Andrea was recommended by a friend. With Andreas guidance, and my goal setting, I no longer crave sweets, have more energy to last throughout the day, and have lost 7 lbs. over the two months we've worked together.
At 64, I was skeptical that I would ever change my eating habits. With our weekly check-ins, and her meal/snack ideas, it's been a life changing and easy process.
We also did a grocery store lesson. I know what to look for and what to stay away from. I had had blood work done before we meet, and then 3 months after and the results showed decreased cholesterol levels.
